The governors of Tring Park School are seeking a new Principal from September 2023 on the retirement of Stefan Anderson who has given distinguished and outstanding service for 21 years.

Tring Park is an exceptional school with a unique mission. It is the only performing arts school in the UK offering a fully balanced dual curriculum. It has a national reputation for outstanding vocational training in the major aspects of performance, with students going on to successful and rewarding careers in dance, drama, music and musical theatre. Students are also fully equipped to progress to an academic degree course at one of the UK’s leading universities.

Governors are seeking to appoint a new Principal who is drawn to the special ethos of this exceptional school and its unique educational experience. He/she will have the personal skills to communicate this vision clearly and passionately to all stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational educational leader with a love of and involvement with the performing arts. He/she will have the experience and capability to position Tring Park as the first-choice destination for pupils looking for both a professional training in the performing arts and a first-class academic education. The ability to motivate, delegate and empower will be vital, together with the necessary business acumen and knowledge of effective marketing to ensure that the school remains in high demand and a profitable enterprise.
