Set on the idyllic and vibrant Isle of Wight in the popular seaport town, Cowes Enterprise College sits at the heart of a local, supportive community and is a valued member of the Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) family.
Cowes Enterprise College is a purpose built £32 million, state-of-the-art facility with a rising roll of just over 1000 students. Last summer, we achieved one of the best sets of GCSE results on the Island and our results have shown year-on-year improvements for the last three years.
We’re looking for an inspirational Principal to drive forward a secure academy, leading a talented group of staff and students through the next exciting stage of development, ensuring continued success. You will help lead us to achieve our vision for all young people to have the highest academic, social and practical skills to allow them to lead a fulfilling life. OAT are determined to become the Trust that makes the biggest difference and to be the most effective network of academies. To achieve this, we need to recruit more of the best and talented leaders of today.
As an OAT Principal, you will be part of a dynamic network of leaders across the Trust with a proven track record of school improvement, transforming academies into ‘Outstanding’ institutions. We will also actively encourage and support your continuing professional development by providing opportunities across the Trust.
Opportunities like this are rare. If you’re an experienced senior leader, with a successful track record of sustained improvement and a determination to maximise the opportunities available, this role offers an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself in a new environment. If you are interested in this role, combined with the added benefit of embracing an invigorating island lifestyle and becoming part of an established and ambitious Trust, please call Jo Fish or Rachel Singer on 0203 637 5007 for an informal and confidential discussion.
