Job overview

London Screen Academy (LSA) is looking for an exceptional leader to shape its future.

As LSA continues to grow and build on its success, we are seeking a visionary Principal to lead the academy into its next chapter. Since opening, LSA has established itself as a pioneering institution, equipping young people from all backgrounds with the knowledge, skills, behaviours, and industry connections to thrive in film and TV and in life.

At LSA, diversity, opportunity, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that talent is everywhere but opportunity is not. Our mission is to change that. We provide an inclusive and dynamic environment where every student can excel, regardless of their starting point.

You do not need to come from a film or creative background to lead LSA. What matters most is your passion for education, leadership, and empowering young people to achieve their potential. If you are committed to excellence, ambitious for our students, and excited by the prospect of working in an academy deeply connected to the screen industries, we would love to hear from you.

LSA is a new sixth form academy for London students which opened in September 2019. We will teach the skills and background knowledge needed to join the screen industries (which include film and television), to progress to higher education or to enter other professions.

Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do.

LSA is unique and exciting; never before has there been such a partnership between outstanding educators and global screen industry leaders. Our students will be taught by London’s best teachers and people who make their living working in the film and television industries.
