The Skinners’ Kent Academy is one of the UK’s leading non-selective academies. The Board of the The Skinners’ Kent Academy Multi Academy Trust now seeks an exceptional leader to join us as Principal and ensure the continued success of The Skinners’ Kent Academy.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educationalist and leader to help a high performing organisation seize the opportunities and meet the challenges of a rapidly changing local and national educational landscape. 

The successful candidate will possess strong intellectual abilities, first class strategic and communication skills, and a substantial track record of senior leadership experience gained as a Principal or Vice-Principal. Experience in a range of settings, in particular within diverse communities is desirable. An appreciation of the value of the IB, not necessarily gained through direct experience, is essential, as is the capacity to innovate and shape pathways for our all-ability intake. The appointee will inspire a committed Senior Leadership Team and engage the entire community in the pursuit of continued excellence, working closely with Skinners’ Kent Primary School and the wider Skinners’ family of schools, and building partnerships in the local area.
