Woodstock Primary Academy is a two-form entry primary school to the north of Leicester City.  We are on a journey of improvement with the aim to become one of the best performing school in the area.  

We have much to build on.  Staffing has remained stable over the last few years, and as a result, the school has established expectations and routines that underpin high expectations. The school has done much work to develop its curriculum and teaching and learning is going from strength to strength. Our pupils are keen to discuss how much they enjoy their learning.  Alongside this, the Trust has supported the development of the school through investment in buildings, IT provision and staff CPD. 

We are now looking for an ambitious leader with well-developed interpersonal skills and a personal value set to lead us through the next phase of our development. You will have a demonstrable track record of successful school leadership and will have a clear grasp of the challenges of leadership in this context. You may be a deputy, ready to step up or an experienced headteacher looking for your next opportunity to lead an organisation on an improvement journey. Either way, your ability to establish highly effective relationships will be critical.  You will benefit from a committed staff group and an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Trust leadership team who are like-minded and clear about the way forward.
