The Thomas Deacon Education Trust (TDET) is a Education Trust of like-minded schools who, through a common set of values, empower every student, every member of staff, parents and the community through a high quality education.

We are unashamedly proud of our links to the city of Peterborough and its surrounding areas and share the city’s ambitious vision for growth. We believe that our schools and the education of all young people need to be at the heart of these plans.

TDET are excited to be working with the Peterborough Pupil Referral Unit (PPRU) and expect the school to join TDET from the Local Authority in the very near future.

We are now looking to appoint an inspirational leader as Principal of the PPRU and work with TDET to lead systematic values led improvements for every student in the school.

The successful candidate will deliver the vision and values of the Trust to ensure that the PPRU is a beacon of best practice in the education and care of pupils who have experienced considerable difficulty in a mainstream school setting; ensuring that our pupils can re-engage with education, make good progress, achieve academically, and, wherever possible, return to a mainstream education.

If you believe you can make a difference to these students' lives and transform their education, we will be delighted to hear from you.

Applications must be made via our website.
