The Board of Governors of the English International School, Moscow East is looking for an exceptional School Principal to lead and inspire the school in the next stage of its development. 

The English International School in Moscow (EIS) has 3 campuses, located in the East, West and South West of this vibrant and spectacular city. The founding campus – Moscow East - opened ten years ago in response to Moscow's growing demand for international schools of outstanding quality, providing British style education for expatriate and local students aged 3 to 18 years.  23 nationalities are currently represented in the school body.

The school is located in a purpose-built, spacious and well equipped campus with capacity for 256 students in the green and calm suburb of Novogrireevo, just 17 minutes by Metro from the city centre.  Thanks to Moscow's extensive transport network, the school attracts students from all over this vast city. The school is a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). The school expects to achieve Accreditation with CIS in spring / summer 2017. It is also approved and a registered by the Edexcel and Cambridge Examination Boards for iGCSE and ‘A’levels.  Many of our students achieve outstanding results going on to study in the world’s top universities

The ideal candidate for this exciting but challenging role will be able to demonstrate:

  • A passion and a drive for excellence at all levels
  • A proven track record of achievement in senior leadership positions in educational institutions
  • Substantial experience of working in a British international school environment outside the UK in a multi-lingual multi-cultural setting
  • The ability to lead change and achieve sustained improvements through engagement with stakeholders
  • The ability to work collaboratively with peers towards the achievement of common goals
  • UK-based teaching qualifications and experience
