Our three core values across all of the Primaries within our Trust are interwoven through everything that we do. We are dedicated to providing exciting learning experiences for our pupils, sparking curiosity and developing authentic learning experiences which will ultimately lead to achievement for all.

To ensure that our pupils get the best out of their education with us; that they enjoy the very best learning experiences that we can give them, it is vital that our staff are excited to work with us. Anyone who works with us needs to constantly strive to be better and provide improved outcomes for our pupils; nothing less than outstanding is acceptable.

About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring Principal to lead the school on its journey to good and outstanding. Tameside joined the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust on the 1st October last year and has already made significant improvement across a number of areas, we are now looking for a committed and gifted school leader to help us to move the school still further.

We are seeking someone who is open minded, willing to use technology, flexible, have a growth mindset; enjoy thinking out of the box, being creative and innovative and having an eye for detail. Most importantly of all you will want to make a difference to the lives of the young people in our care.

Our key aim is to provide an inclusive education for local pupils at every ability level, believing that:

• Every pupil should have access to a whole education underpinned by academic rigour.

• Every pupil should be equipped for today, tomorrow and their future lives, acquiring cutting-edge skills and the ability to discover the world and beyond.

• Every pupil should be safe, happy, ambitious for themselves and respectful of all.
