Job overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Principal, with a proven track record, working in a good or outstanding school, that can lead Sun Academy through the next stage of its journey. We are looking for a leader who can uphold and embrace the consistency of high expectations Sun Academy have become accustomed to.

This is an exciting time for Sun Academy as we continue our journey to becoming an Outstanding school, following our recent OFSTED in February 2024, where we remained a Good school.

You will have the opportunity to engage and collaborate with our other academies across the trust during these exciting times, as we learn from each other and improve together. As a trust we have recently delivered our first Outstanding Secondary Academy, will you be the first to deliver Sun Academy as our First Outstanding Primary Academy.

The position will suit an existing experienced senior leader with experience of delivering exceptional standards, who can lead this academy to future success. You will have the opportunity to work with the Director of Primary Education to shape the way in which you will lead the school to positively impact the educational development of all pupils.

If you are the visionary leader we need, we want to hear from you. For more information and to apply, please visit our career portal.

If you would like to visit the school, appointments with Natalie Deen, Director of Primary Education, are available. To arrange your visit, please contact Natalie by email, details can be found in the application pack.
