We are an all-boys 11–16 school, steeped in history and driven by a mission to build exceptional young men. Our school is a fully inclusive, single academy trust. We place a significant emphasis on the full five-year journey and, as a collective student and staff body, set the very highest of standards.
We pride ourselves on the shared values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience in all that we do. Aligned with these values, kindness and positivity are cornerstones that enable our young people to realise their full potential.
This is an extremely exciting time to join Audenshaw School. Behaviour is of a very high standard, with exceptional conduct around the school as students and staff greet visitors – and each other – with kindness and respect.
As the leader of the Audenshaw whole staff body, you will be fully invested in and have opportunities to develop, collaborate and undertake both bespoke qualifications or courses aligned to the role. More broadly, you will be encouraged to undertake frequent and relevant professional development opportunities – we promote every single staff member being a ‘lifelong learner’.
This is an opportunity for an outstanding individual who has the relevant experience, commitment and drive, who is passionate about encouraging every child to reach their full potential within a supportive academic environment.
As Principal, you will uphold and embody our values and vision, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high academic and personal standards for all pupils.
We are looking for a leader who:
- Is an empathetic and dynamic presence, able to lead by example
- Has a strong track record of school leadership
- Brings extensive experience of teaching and learning, curriculum innovation, and behaviour management
- Can motivate, support and challenge staff to deliver excellence, creating a culture of continuous improvement
- Has a deep understanding of data, school improvement planning, and accountability
- Values parental engagement and community relationships
- Has a proven track record of raising student achievement across a wide range of abilities and cultural contexts
If you are an outstanding, dynamic and ambitious leader with the ability and passion to inspire those around you, we want to hear from you!
