We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspirational Principal Teacher of Support for Learning. This is a new and crucial role in the Junior School with an ever increasing emphasis on supporting early intervention in order to meet all pupils' needs effectively.
Salary will be above the national scale. Teachers employed at the High School of Glasgow must be GTCS registered from August 2017.

The High School of Glasgow is a mixed, selective, non-denominational all-through school with sixth form situated in the centre of Glasgow. It is an independent school. Smaller than average in size for a school of its type, Good Schools Guide identifies a school roll of around 1,022 secondary school students between the ages of 3-18.
The school has a long history, dating back to the foundation of its original boys’ school, known as the Choir School of Glasgow Cathedral in 1124. The name changed to The High School of Glasgow in 1834, and was managed by the Glasgow School Board from 1872. The Glasgow High School for Girls was opened in 1894, and following the closure of the boys’ school in 1976, an amalgamation occurred into the school known today.
