About our school 

Centrally located in Al Barsha, Nord Anglia International School Dubai (NAS Dubai) is a purpose-built flagship Nord Anglia school with an enrolment of over 2,800 students, making it one of the most popular Nord Anglia schools globally and one of the most sought-after schools in the United Arab Emirates. 

NAS Dubai’s reputation has grown both locally and globally over the past 10 years, with the school listing frequently on the Spear’s and Carfax indexes of the world’s top schools. 

The school’s curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum adapted to the local environment and leading up to IGCSEs and A levels, with IB Diploma Programme also on offer. In 2021, the school was accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges to offer a high school diploma recognised by US universities. The role  

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic principal to lead NAS Dubai and to take overall responsibility for the leadership, organisation, and management of the school. The key deliverables will be aligned with the annual school quality review and other key objectives in the school plan as measured by key performance indicators covering education quality, student numbers, revenue and cost control, professional development, reputation management, and health & safety.

• Be committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for every student in our care and engage with children, staff and parents to ensure that we identify, understand and meet their educational aims and needs. 
• Lead with a strategic and decisive style, suitable for a highly successful school within a competitive environment. 
• Demonstrate understanding of how to run an innovative curriculum using contemporary international thinking. 
• Be an ambassador and help to build the brand and reputation of the school. 
• Demonstrate a flair for developing managerial and educational talent. 
• Respect, appreciate and understand a variety of cultures and societies, building strong relationships with all members of the school community. 

The principal will be member of Nord Anglia Education’s Senior Leadership Team, driving the progression of the entire Nord Anglia organisation by sharing good practice, innovation and support across the family of schools. You will also benefit from our contemporary approach to continuous professional development.
