This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a dynamic and visionary leader to become the new Principal at Joseph Leckie Academy and lead a thriving secondary academy, while helping to shape the strategic direction of a brand new Academy Trust serving pupils aged 4 to 18 across its family of schools.

 

As Principal of Joseph Leckie Academy, you will provide inspirational and hands-on leadership at one of the most successful academies in the area. Joseph Leckie Academy is an 11–18 non-selective school with a strong sense of community, excellent pastoral care, and a commitment to high aspirations for every student. The Academy’s ethos is rooted in the values of Leadership, Empathy, Community, Kindness, Integrity and Environment.

 

About You

We are seeking an exceptional leader who can:

•            Inspire and empower students, staff, and leaders to deliver excellence across the Academy.

•            Combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership of a vibrant secondary school.

•            Build on the strong foundations of JLA, ensuring high aspirations and inclusivity for all pupils.

•            Promote collaboration and professional development across all Trust schools.

 

You will bring a proven track record of successful leadership, demonstrating the capacity to lead a large secondary academy. You will be an inspiring communicator with the ability to unite staff, students, parents, and trustees around a shared vision.
