King’s Leadership Phoenix Academy is a new, innovative secondary Alternative Provision School in Liverpool. The school, previously known as The Aspire Centre, has just relocated to a multi-million pound new accommodation and will benefit from over £2 million of additional capital investment. This is an opportunity to shape the future of alternative provision in Liverpool, working in collaboration with the Great Schools Trust and local communities. Initially, it will welcome up to 60, 11-16 year old, growing to 120 over the next 3 years. The Great Schools Trust are seeking to appoint an ambitious leader who shares their commitment to changing the life chances of the pupils.

The new Principal will have high expectations and the inspirational qualities to work with a committed and motivated staff team to look beyond traditional models of Alternative Provision and will have the tenacity and drive to make the vision of the Trust a reality.
Great Schools Trust is a family of 4 secondary Academies based in Liverpool, Warrington and Bolton. It is also one of only ten Behaviour Hub Lead MATs in the UK chosen to support schools nationally with excellent character education and culture for learning.
For the successful candidate a significant investment will be made in your professional development, including membership to the Trust Leadership Team alongside the other Principals and Leaders. You will also have an opportunity to play a wider role across the Trust supporting inclusion and the Behaviour Hub as part of our commitment to your career.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in senior leadership with evidence of strong impact their previous setting(s). They will lead with honesty and integrity and be passionate about improving students’ life chances through the provision of the highest quality of education.
