South Wiltshire UTC opened in September 2015 in the cathedral city of Salisbury. We are a vibrant, professional and successful college proud to offer a different kind of education to young people in the south west. We have 275 students on roll currently, with the capacity and ambition to grow to 600 over the next few years.

At South Wiltshire UTC we specialise in Engineering, Science and Computer Technology, offering young people a technical route to the working world. We work closely with Wiltshire Council, Wiltshire College and the University of Southampton as well as the Royal Navy, the NHS and several of the area's largest employers to offer an innovative and relevant practical education for our students. Having enjoyed a successful first year of operation, we are now looking for a new Principal to lead us well into the future, building upon the firm foundations that have been laid. It is essential that our new leader will have the ability to inspire, motivate and promote educational excellence across both academic and technical study.

We are looking for a highly skilled leader with a clear understanding of the current educational landscape and a strong track record of improvement, as well as passion for industry and the UTC movement as a whole. You will be a strategic leader who is able to direct students and staff, collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and identify and take opportunities.
