Procurement Officer

To support the achievement of College objectives on procurement and to oversee procurement across the College.

Salary: Scale 5, Points 25-28, £22,490 - £24,402 per annum.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (may include evenings and weekends).  

Contract: Full time, permanent.    

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College).   

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should hold a Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Advanced or Professional Diploma and have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline. You should also be IT literate equivalent to Level 3. You should hold a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).  Relevant experience of working within a public procurement setting (Education, Local Authority, NHS, etc.) is essential.
