Reporting to the Quality Manager and Principal, the holder of this new and influential post will provide coaching support to a portfolio of new and existing teachers. They will also devise, plan, implement and evaluate a staff development strategy.

  • The college is looking for individuals who are passionate about the art of effective and outstanding teaching. They will already have proved to be exceptional as teachers and can provide evidence of raising the standard of others’ teaching practice.
  • The successful candidates will report to the Quality Manager and Principal as required but will focus on working with individual teachers for the majority of their time. They must be passionate in helping others to improve their teaching and be skilled in coaching.
  • They will have a small teaching commitment depending on circumstances and subject need.
  • They will be skilled in devising and leading college staff development activities.
  • They will be seeking a role in which they can have a substantial impact on the quality of teaching right across a small but relatively complex organisation.
