Job overview

We are looking for a Programme Area Lead to contribute to the successful organisation and management of Higher Education sport provision. The successful candidate will support individual staff to meet challenging targets within Higher Education Sport and contribute to the Department’s growth strategy.

The Programme Area Lead will be responsible for the direct coordination of The Higher Education Sport offsite/flexible learning provision to ensure high standards of quality are achieved. The Programme Area Lead will report to the Curriculum Manager and make a considerable contribution to the College’s aim of providing outstanding quality and responsiveness in teaching, learning and assessment. The post holder will have successful experience in higher education, with a specific skill set suited to offsite/flexible learning. Furthermore, the post holder will have the knowledge and experience of planning, organising and delivering a diverse and creative curriculum. The Programme Area Lead will be able to confidently coordinate the work of teams and individuals to meet challenging targets of growing and sustaining our offsite/flexible learning provision.

To be considered for this exciting new position you will have successful leadership experience within Higher Education, with wide knowledge and experience of planning, organising and delivering a creative and applied curriculum preparing graduates for employment within sports related disciplines.
