Are you a Healthcare professional with the desire to join the University Centre South Devon, Health and Care Professions and Nursing team, to lead our Nursing Associate Programme as validated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, then we have the perfect opportunity for you.
Based in Paignton, at the heart of the English Riviera, our leadership team are looking for an inspirational and experienced nurse or nursing associate to join the team to lead the delivery for both direct and apprenticeship students on the Nursing Associate Programme, where you will lead the development, management and delivery of the Nursing Associate courses and support the Healthcare courses within Clinical Education.
We are looking for someone to be responsible for leading the development, management and delivery of the Nursing Associate courses within Health and Social Care Professions and Nursing, support the course leaders and teams for the development and delivery of Health and Social Care courses within Health and Social Care Professions and Nursing. The post holder will participate in and contribute to, the delivery, continuing development and integration of healthcare within modules and courses, offered by the Section. Working closely with the course team, the post holder will provide support to students undertaking modules and courses at the college and to students/mentors in clinical environments.
You will also support students throughout their course, acting as personal tutor, monitoring their progression and supporting their key and academic skills development. Work in partnership with the course team, clinical practice staff and their managers, and service users to deliver high quality modules/courses relevant to the needs of health service users and their carers/families/significant others.
