Harrogate Grammar School is a renowned state 11-18 mixed comprehensive school rich in history, dating back to 1903. With over 2000 students and 260 staff at our school, our reputation for excellence is widely recognised and we have an absolute commitment to ensuring that all our young people benefit from what the school has to offer. Our successful and dynamic Geography Faculty is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Programme Leader of Geography from September 2020. You will join a committed Humanities Faculty, benefitting from excellent facilities and an established staff team. Most importantly you will work with fantastic young people who are committed to their learning and proud to be part of Harrogate Grammar School. The Geography team is committed to offering students as broad an education as is possible and offers trips and visits at all levels of the curriculum.  This includes a visit to Bolton Abbey in Year 7 and fieldwork for GCSE and A level courses.  Recent overseas visits include the Alps, Sicily and Iceland.

Our school truly is a great place to work and the post would ideally suit a motivated and inspiring teacher, ideally with some leadership experience.
