An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join Exeter College to teach History and Politics A level.
Taught within the Faculty of Humanities, these subjects currently have cohorts of around 200 learners, the vast majority of which are A Level students. The subject is also delivered as part of the International Baccalaureate and our Access to HE. Both subjects are taught to AS and A level following the Edexcel syllabus.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about further education and keen to support the development of the curriculum, and opportunities to enrich learner’s experiences of the subject. The successful candidate will join a large team of dedicated subject specialists who are committed to ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
This is an ideal opportunity for a dedicated specialist to bring their own ideas and strengths to the delivery of this subject at Level 3.
In addition to teaching, you will be expected to offer pastoral support as a tutor and be able to motivate our learners to achieve their full potential.
You will need to have a flexible approach, initiative and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You must be a qualified teacher with experience of, and demonstrable success in, the delivery of History/Politics to Level 3 learners.
