The Faculty was awarded grade 1 in the Ofsted inspection in 2014 and has continued to grow its range of provision with improved Achievement and Value-Added ever since. We are primarily based in modern purpose-built facilities in the Maths and Science Centre. The College also has ambitious plans for the next phase of its development including a new centre to support our growth. Exeter College effectively provides a Sixth Form College for Exeter as well as drawing in students from across the region due to our reputation of excellence. The college is based a short walk from the thriving city centre in the heart of Devon, with all it has to offer, excellent road and rail links, plus the benefits of the nearby outstanding coast and countryside.

The Faculty predominantly delivers a range of maths and science courses at Level three including A Levels, BTEC Applied Science, maths and science courses within the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Access to HE. The faculty actively listens to its learners, and we have very positive learner feedback. You will be joining a team of experienced, supportive Programme Leaders with a passion for their subjects and a strong commitment to sharing ideas and resources. Each team is led by a Curriculum Area Manager. You will also benefit from wider provision within the Faculty, including a mentor, Tutorial Area Manager and the support of an Advanced Teaching Practitioner. As a Programme Leader you will work with the support of other existing Programme Leaders to carry out teaching and tutorial duties, and will have the opportunity to take on responsibility for a course that you deliver. The current post-holder primarily delivers physics and computer science at Level 3. Please ensure your subject specialism(s) is clear on your application.

Experienced teachers or newer entrants to the profession are invited to apply; we will be seeking to appoint a teacher with the greatest ability, enthusiasm and commitment to excellence in the classroom.
