This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Faculty of Sport, Leisure and Tourism and teach undergraduate students on our FdSc. and BSc. in Sports Therapy from August 2021. The role will also involve providing match day support for the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Academy as a Sports Therapist/Physiotherapist for one day a week.

Exeter College is seeking a forward-thinking and highly motivated therapist to teach across a range of Higher Education courses in Sports Therapy for two-three days per week. As part of the role you will also have the opportunity to support the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Academy as their match day therapists. For the right candidate there may be the option to expand on this support for the rugby programme

You will be expected to have experience as a Sports Therapist / Physiotherapist and be able to demonstrate a range of high-level, up to date Sports Therapy techniques and pitch side support. You will have the ability to lecture to small groups of higher education students as well as deliver practical Sports Therapy seminars and clinic sessions. You should be qualified to level 6 or above and have a keen interest in supporting the learning of aspiring Sports Therapists. A full teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. A flexible approach, excellent organisation and good interpersonal skills are required, as well as being a proactive team player.
