An exciting opportunity has arisen at Exeter College for an individual to join our Bricklaying and Maintenance team in the faculty of Construction and the Built Environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with industry experience in Maintenance Operations, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting and Decorating or equivalent trades who has the drive and commitment to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment. The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum of Level 2 in any of the above disciplines.

The role focuses on the teaching and assessment of learners’ progress within the college whilst demonstrating a professional approach to the planning, delivery and assessment of teaching and training. As well as academic success you will also be responsible for the pastoral support of your learners to include group tutorials, one to one support and target setting as well as liaising with parents to ensure learners are supported and able to achieve to the best of their ability.
