WHAT WE DO
We are a developing and growing industry responsive Manufacturing Technologies Department. We are looking for a highly motivated Programme Manager, with a potential to develop higher, who will drive our strategic ambitions and growth. Taking responsibility for our Engineering vocational and academic pathways of study including apprenticeships and HNC. You will have the responsibility to lead and manage the team delivering EAL and BTEC qualifications from level 2 to level 4. We require someone who understands the needs of the local and national manufacturing industry and also has the drive and enthusiasm to support the department achieve its goals and aspirations. We are a small, growing friendly team and pride ourselves on the importance we attach to well-being as well as academic achievements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You will manage the KPIs for the different pathways such as achievement, retention, quality and learner experience.
- You will develop the curriculum so that learners are fully equipped for employment in the industry.
- You will manage and develop the curriculum team to achieve growth.
- You will maintain and develop working relationships with local employers to support apprenticeship programmes.
YOUR PROFILE
- You should be able to work individually and as part of a team, supportive and focused.
- You should be able to prioritise objectives and work to a deadline.
- You should have had experience of line managing team members and also analysing KPIs for a group of learners.
- You should hold a relevant qualification and or recent experience in the manufacturing sectors highlighted.
