Programme Manager

Any Teach First regional office

Fixed Term - 12 months

The link between low income and low academic attainment is greater in the UK than almost any other developed nation. Children eligible for free school meals are less likely to get good GCSEs and go on to higher education. This makes it more likely they will struggle throughout their lives, widening social inequality. It’s a cycle that we’re determined to break.

We work with thousands of brilliant teachers, schools, universities and partners in England and Wales and we are seeking a fantastic  Programme Manager to join our School Leadership team.

The Programme Manager will play a critical role in driving forward the school leadership activity as a technical expert ensuring that each programme for which they are responsible is delivered on time, in full and to high quality. They will be responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of new programmes including its reporting, quality assurance and continuous development.

You have strong Project Management capabilities and are able to lead in developing and implementing complex project plans that have implications across departments or the organisation. In addition you have proven experience managing all stages of a process to ensure delivery of results within set timeframes and budges, including: resource allocation and management; issue identification and resolution; quality assurance and evaluation.

Along with the satisfaction of knowing you are working for an organization who are making a real difference, you will also receive £45544 per annum (with roles based in London receiving £3000 London Weighting Allowance) & excellent benefits.

The day when no child’s future is limited by their background is coming, yet, there is still more to be done. Join us and help us ensure every child in the UK has a fair shot at achieving their ambitions.
