We are looking for:
- A full time Programme Tutor in Personal Training
- Qualified Teacher: pro-rata £32,304.00 - £40,050.00
- Please note, we would consider the appointment of 2 x 0.5 tutors to accommodate industry experience and commitments.
The Role:
The job role involves the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment within our Fitness Academy. We deliver a wide range of qualifications from level 2 through to level 4 servicing 16-18-year old’s and adults alike. Furthermore. we work with a variety of leading employers to upskill, and/or retrain learners to produce well qualified future fitness instructors and personal trainers the industry needs.
Specifically, we are seeking an individual with the capability of leading and inspiring the next generation of fitness instructors and personal trainers, whilst the successful candidate must have the relevant qualifications and experience of assessing and verifying with YMCA and Active IQ.

Oldham College is a medium sized general further education college, with a turnover of almost £25m. It has one main campus in the centre of town, and this is in the third phase of a £40m redevelopment which began in 2012. Higher education is taught on a second, dedicated campus, a short walk away. The College delivers a full range of work-related education and training, including 16-18 programmes of study, T levels, apprenticeships, adult learning and higher education. It has over 5000 full-time students and 600 undergraduates.
The College is in the top quartile for 16-18 programmes of study and English GCSE resits, and in apprenticeship provision, but is the second highest performing provider Greater Manchester. The quality of its higher education provision is better than many established universities.

Oldham College was established in 1893 following a donation from the Platt family who were famously manufacturers of textile machinery. Their generosity led to the institution of the school for art and science in Oldham Town Centre.
