Job overview

Are you a consistently good or outstanding teacher?

Are you looking to lead and ‘grow’ other teachers in order to improve outcomes for children?

Are you aspiring to senior leadership in the future?

If so, then this position may be of great interest to you.

Nene and Ramnoth School is a large and growing primary school that is embarking upon an exciting journey of rapid school improvement. This includes restructuring to include Progress Leaders for each of KS1, Lower KS2 and Upper KS2.

These are new positions in School and the successful applicants will be class teachers who work to improve the quality of teaching, learning and outcomes in their team by, among other things:

  • Being a role model of good/outstanding teaching
  • Taking responsibility for leading on provision
  • Supporting colleagues to use assessment effectively to inform provision
  • Mentoring and coaching teachers
  • Leading pupil progress meetings
  • Ensuring agreed School practices are being effectively and consistently implemented.

Crucially, Progress Leaders will play a pivotal role in working with Senior Leaders to drive school improvement.

This is an exciting time for Nene and Ramnoth School which is part of The Elliot Foundation Academy Trust. You might be somebody who is already undertaking a similar role and you are now ready for a change of school in a different, challenging context. Alternatively, you may be somebody who is a really great teacher looking to move into this type of role. Successful candidates will be well supported by effective and outstanding senior leaders and a supportive Trust.

If this interests you, please contact the Interim Executive Principal, Mrs Deborah Hannaford, Vice Principal, Mrs Sally Kirby or the School Manager, Mrs Rachel Land (admin@nenerjs.org) for an application pack.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
