Working as part of a team, you will be responsible and accountable for a cohort of students, working with them in a diverse range of ways including goal-setting, monitoring achievement and attendance and motivational coaching. You will be expected to liaise with parents, Subject Teachers, Heads of School and Senior Progress Tutors to support, challenge and motivate students in all aspects of the learning journey. You will also be responsible for the co-ordination of work experience and employability across the college, setting up and overseeing all aspects of student placements and liaising with providers, students and staff.
We are looking for a committed and motivated individual, with experience of providing assistance, support and guidance to young adults. You should have excellent communication and language skills and have the flexibility to occasionally work evenings at College events.
New College Bradford is a 16-19 free school opening initially with 500 students, rising to 1200 by September 2021. New College Bradford will primarily deliver A Levels, alongside a number of Level 3 Applied General qualifications.
If you believe that you have the skills and abilities to take on this role, we’d love to hear from you.
