About the Role

This position of Project Administration Officer is pivotal in assisting in the project administrative functions that enable projects to be delivered within scope, timeframe, and budget. The role will be responsible for developing and embedding project templates and communication documents/reports. Additionally, the Project Administration Officer will provide record management governance, support and assistance across all administrative functions for the Information Communication & Technology (ICT) service area.

We are seeking a project-focus individual, who is inquisitive, well-organised and has a collaborative approach to tasks. You’ll have a hunger for learning and growing and have well-developed experience in SharePoint, Google platform and the Microsoft suite.

Essential Criteria

  • Professional experience and working knowledge with computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), SharePoint, Google platform and electronic document applications
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including demonstrated ability to foster effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in developing electronic form such as PDF e-forms
  • Experience or willingness to learn MS Project to develop Gantt charts, and update project tracking data is desirable but not essential
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently within existing processes and procedures and work collaboratively as part of a team
