DCG- Derby College Group are working in partnership with Nottingham Trent University & Derby University, Nottingham City Council and Nottingham College to deliver an ESF match funded programme High Level Skills. The High Level Skills project is working with businesses to help them grow and establish a more diverse, creative and productive workforce through 2 complimentary projects 'Priority Skills for D2N2SMEs and Grads for D2N2'. 

 

As Project Co-ordinator you provide support to SMEs exploring progression pathways to high level skills to identify any skills shortages or skills gaps within their organisation as well as being pivotal to the success of the project by managing the collaboration of DCG, key stakeholders and SMEs.

 

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent as well as being an effective communicator with excellent literacy, numeracy and organisational skills. The proven ability to work with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail as well as juggle multiple priorities in a calm and efficient manner are fundamental to this role. Previous experience of working on ESF programmes is desirable. 


For the successful candidate a full driving licence and own transport will be required.

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.   

Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
