Greater Brighton Metropolitan College has recently been awarded additional funding from the Department of Education to create a Maths Centre for Excellence in the South East region.

We are looking for an experienced maths practitioner to work collaboratively with local schools and colleges to design, deliver and disseminate best practice. The successful candidate will help with the development and evaluation of new, high quality teaching methods and support the further education sector to use diagnostic tools to facilitate more targeted teaching.

You will be an inspirational teacher, with the ability to motivate and lead teams to raise standards in post-16 education. Previous experience of managing projects is desirable, but not essential.

Our maths centre is comprised of ten local schools and colleges encompassing primary, secondary, sixth form, SEN and FE provision and applications are invited from all educational sectors.  The project is initially funded for three years, and may be extended beyond this point.
