Job overview

Delta Academies Trust are looking to appoint a Project Support team member to join us in as soon as possible in the New Year. As Project Support, you will support the Trust’s Core Team in relation to administration, coordination, planning and control of Trust wide projects and offering recommendations for procedural improvements where relevant.  

You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the Science Equipment Distribution Project, including the procurement, delivery, collation, packing, distribution and maintenance of all resources. 

As well as administration and coordination of the project, you will support the project through the full termly cycle, including picking/packing of items, sorting returned items for repair/replacement, loading/unloading of delivery vehicles and drop off/collection of equipment boxes from our schools across Yorkshire and the Humber.  

Day-to-day project support will be carried out at Goole Academy however there will be an opportunity to complete administration work from our Head Office in Knottingley should that suit the successful individual. Whilst this role will be part of the Core Team which is based at Knottingley, the successful individual will be required to work individually whilst at the ‘storage facility’ within Goole Academy therefore they must be motivated and able to work on their own initiative.   

This is a temporary post for twelve months in the first instance however could lead to a permanent role. We are looking for 30 hours per week during term time only plus 5 days but can be flexible on how and when these hours are worked, subject to business need.
