Vision for Education, the supply arm of TES and leading education recruitment specialist, is looking to recruit a passionate teacher to teach BTEC and GCSE Physical Education (PE) in a small Secondary Alternative Provision (AP) in Wisbech.
The Alternative Provision (AP) caters for pupils who have experienced difficulties with their behaviour and learning in mainstream schools. The school is passionate about personalising work to meet individual needs and prides itself in keeping learners engaged, motivated and encouraged to be the best person they can be.
The full-time position will start after the October half-term and last until Christmas. Whilst Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desired, we will welcome applicants who do not have the necessary teaching qualification but who have experience teaching P.E. in a school environment.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience in teaching P.E. and/or BTEC P.E.
Be able to adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
Be engaging and motivated with their teaching
Have the ability to withstand challenging behaviour.
Be able to build a strong rapport with pupils
