We currently have a vacancy for a Psychology Assistant to work 30 hours per week and 44 weeks per year.

As a Psychology Assistant, you will provide administrative support to professional and clinical staff with the planning, implementation and evaluation of therapy and care plans in order to support the mental, emotional, physical and social well-being of our children and young people.

You will work across the education and residential settings where you will support the plans put in place by the Educational Psychologist and the Residential and Therapy Services Manager.  This will include the teaching and coaching of education and residential support staff to ensure that plans are followed and strategies are delivered consistently across a 24 hour curriculum.

We are a co-educational school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 5 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.
