Psychology Teacher? We Need You! 

We are looking to recruit an inspiring full time teacher who can offer Psychology to A Level to start in September 2017.  Psychology is a very popular subject at Shirley High School and the department is well resourced and supportively led. You will need to bring to the role the ability to teach proactive and focused lessons to our students, ensuring that lesson plans and schemes of work are on target and in line with curriculum guidelines. Our salary package will recognise your experience, qualifications and commitment. 

At Shirley High School, we offer students a pathway from Year 7 to Year 13 through KS3 curriculum, GCSEs and A’ Levels and a growing Sixth Form performing in the top 14% for A level Progress on the DfE performance tables with 86% of all A level grades A*-C.

You will hold a Psychology or relevant degree and ideally be a qualified teacher, along with the desire and dedication to ensure high standards of student progression and attainment. We welcome applicants from both the independent and maintained sectors.
