Public Services Teacher (part and full time fixed term opportunities available)

Your role will be to inspire students to excel on our BTEC Extended Diploma in Public Services (Uniformed) and BTEC Level 2 Public Services programmes. These courses provide all the skills, discipline and knowledge that people need to build their futures in the Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Prison Service, Army, Royal Navy, RAF or Marines, either directly or after higher education.

We are looking to fill both full and part time positions, the part time position is 0.7fte over 4 days and additional hours may become available following enrolment. Both posts are fixed term for the academic year 2018/19 with the possibility of extension.    

First-rate communication skills are absolutely essential, ideally combined with vocational experience in a uniformed public service. A strong team worker, you should also bring a good knowledge of current IT developments as this course is part of the college’s very successful and innovative technology for learning programme. You should be flexible and have a goal-focused approach.
