Job overview

Lancing College Preparatory School at Hove has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate candidate to join our team as a Pupil Health and Wellbeing Administrator.

 

We an independent Nursery, Pre-Preparatory and Preparatory School for approximately 285 children between the age of 3 and 13. Situated in Hove, East Sussex, the school is set in its own grounds and offers a wonderful environment for its pupils.

 

Duties will include:

•         Being responsible for day to day medical and first aid duties, and longer-term oversight of medical and first aid planning.

•         Working with the school’s Health & Safety officer, and assisting teaching staff with trip planning and risk assessment.

•         Supporting the pastoral care of all children, including offering 1:1 and group work on social skills and emotional literacy, whilst liaising with the Learning Support department.

 

Skills and experience required:

•         Experience of working within medical, first aid, counselling and/or wellbeing roles.

•         Must be a dependable and flexible team player.

•         Highly motivated, hardworking, and passionate about education.

•         Innovative and creative thinker, able to inspire confidence in children.

•         Ability to prioritise effectively and balance competing pressures.

•         Ability to see tasks through to completion within set time frames.
