We offer an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a truly great school.

Skinners’ Academy are seeking to appoint a proactive individual to contribute to the support of provision of an excellent Learning Resources service for the Academy to supervise pupils and to provide an excellent Learning Resources/reprographics service for the Academy

Covid – 19 Statement

Current government recommendations on the running of schools during Covid mean that the Academy’s library is not open to mixed groups of pupils at lunchtime or for afterschool homework sessions.  For as long as government recommendations affect the Academy, the duties and responsibilities of the postholder will be varied accordingly.  This means that the pupil supervision element of the role is envisaged, at present, to be minimal/non existent (though this is subject to change).  Instead the role will include some reception cover, and some general administration duties.  The start and finish time of the role (which would normally be 8.40-5 Mon-Thurs, 8.40-4.35 Fri) will also be adjusted, with the postholder likely to be required to start and finish an hour earlier to meet the Academy’s current requirements.  The duties and responsibilities of the substantive role will be reinstated once the government recommends that schools can return to pre Covid arrangements.

Please note this post allows substantial access to children. Therefore, in accordance with our Safer Recruitment Policy the successful candidate will be required to apply for, and hold, an enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Services) certificate. The Academy will arrange this for you prior to you taking up your post.

Please note CV applications are not accepted
