Vision & Aims - The de Ferrers Trust

The de Ferrers Trust is a Multi Academy Trust comprising three Secondary Academies and four Primary Academies, currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

The Role

Eton Park Junior is a purpose-built Academy for pupils between the ages of 7 and 11. Our focus is on learning and the personal development of all learners. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic member of staff to work under the director of Senior Staff to provide pastoral support to pupils and advice to parents in order to improve educational outcomes, as well as acting as Alternative Designated Lead for Safeguarding.

You will work with outside agencies, have regular contact and meetings with parents, work with students on a 1 to 1 and group basis, monitor attendance, and liaise with EWO in order to raise attendance so that it is in line with national and county attendance initiatives and requirements. You will also be responsible for undertaking administration of pupils and may line manage other staff.

This temporary position will be offered at 37 hours per week, working weeks are term time only. Working hours to be discussed at interview.

Eton Park is a purpose-built school for pupils between the ages of 7 and 11 and was opened in October 1991. We have a very generous site which includes playing fields, a hard surface playground, a trim trail, ICT theatre, gardens and a nature conservation area.
