We are looking to appoint an experienced, motivated, committed and flexible Pupil Support Officer to work within the pastoral team to support the needs of individual children within the house system. The successful candidate must be:


  • Willing and able to work as part of a team
  • Understand the learning and wider social needs of children who have a diverse set of skills and abilities
  • Be resilient and able to maintain a professional and positive approach at all times
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of all children, in line with school expectations
  • Provide support and guidance to children and those engaged with them
  • Promote effective participation,  enhance individual learning, raise aspiration and achieve full potential
  • Manage your time effectively
  • Be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including MAST
  • Attend and contribute to meetings such as TAF
  • Build positive relationships with parents/carers
