The Role
RAK Academy, Khuzam is looking for a positive, driven and inspirational PYP Coordinator role to join the team. The PYP Coordinator works closely with all members of the primary PYP team; Head of School, Deputy Head of school, lead teachers, and classroom teachers to coordinate, lead and ensure effective curriculum planning and recording. The PYP coordinator also identifies and addresses PYP professional development needs.
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Post Graduate Certificate in Education (or equivalent)
- Over 5 years teaching experience in PYP
- Experienced and knowledgeable about the PYP programme and accreditation
- PYP coordinator training with IB
- Concept-based Curriculum and Instruction awareness or practiced
Desirable
- Experience of using Google suite, e.g., Google classroom

The IB consists of two programs: The Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).
