Position Overview
The PYP Coordinator is a key pedagogical leader responsible for ensuring the coherence, integrity, and high-quality implementation of the IB Primary Years Program across Grades 1–5. As the guardian of the PYP, the role promotes inquiry-based learning, conceptual understanding, student agency, and personalized learning.
Working closely with divisional leaders and IB coordinators across the continuum, the PYP Coordinator ensures alignment with IB Standards and Practices, supports curriculum and assessment coherence, and uses data to inform teaching and learning improvement.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership preferred, and bring extensive experience teaching and leading within the IB Primary Years Program. Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning, curriculum design, assessment, and data-informed practice is essential.
