The PYP Homeroom Teacher will deliver high-quality interactive lessons that enable each student to reach their potential. The successful candidate will create a safe and exciting learning environment with high expectations and lead learning and teaching practices. He/she will develop formative and summative assessments to accurately report on the progress of students in line with the IB PYP curriculum as well as collaboratively plan units of study designed for maximizing learning for all students.

The successful candidate should have minimum a Bachelor’s degree and must have an internationally recognized teaching qualification or a BEd /MEd and at least 3 years teaching Early years / Grade One and 5 years + as a PYP teacher. He/she must have experience in implementing play based approaches to teaching and learning and facilitating smooth transitions from early years to elementary school . He/She Must have knowledge of child development theories and best practices

In addition to the above qualifications , He/She must be highly collaborative, creative, adaptable, empathetic, reflective and posses strong communication skill
