Band 4 £24,496 - £26,845 pro rata

36.25 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks (i.e. 40 weeks)

(full-time actual salary £21,492)

Our Q Room ensures that students who need some time out of lesson to reflect on their behaviour, get that time and support in a safe space where they can continue to learn. The Q Room Student Support Lead supports the Pastoral Team in ensuring there is a high-quality provision in our Q Room, focusing on learning support, welfare and guidance. The Q Room Student Support Lead also supports the Year Teams in the implementation of pastoral care, engagement, and positive behaviour for learning strategies for all students.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a behaviour focused role with the ability to manage and motivate students and provide a calm environment whilst ensuring that the schools behaviour policy is adhered to.

Candidates must be available to work:

Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 4.00pm (some flexibility in hours will be required)

to work term time plus two weeks (i.e. 40 weeks)
