Salary: up to £26,000 per year depending on experience.

Working hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday 8 hours shift patterns between the hours of 07:30-18:15 OR 4 days, 10 hour shifts.

For the role you must have a minimum of a level 2 qualification.

Role Essentials

  • To assist the manager in managing the provision of the nursery ensuring that children, parents and the staff team work together effectively to provide high quality care and education.
  • To assume overall responsibility for raising the quality of early years provision, including physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for children in the setting
  • To promote excellent practice at all times
  • To lead practice across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • To support and mentor other practitioners in the skills and behaviours that safeguard and promote outstanding outcomes for children.
