The college has two state of the art campuses in West Bromwich accessible through excellent transport links and, having merged with Cadbury College, now has a dedicated Sixth Form College in Birmingham.  This is an exciting time for the college to develop its work.


We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Quality Assurance and Improvement Lead. This is a full time role with a 12 month initial contract in the first instance, with a view for a further extension.


A key role, the successful candidate will contribute to the creation of the quality assurance and improvement strategy, working closely with staff across the full range of the college’s provision to evaluate, improve and enhance the quality of the learning experience and to secure consistently good and outstanding learning. 


You will have the proven ability to inspire, influence and motivate others to achieve excellence, as well as be able to demonstrate strong excellent evidence-based knowledge of what constitutes quality teaching, learning and assessment. It is essential that you hold good knowledge of external quality processes (such as Ofsted EIF, EQA, QAA etc) and hold strong coaching, mentoring and interpersonal skills.

 It has two state of the art campuses in West Bromwich accessible through excellent transport links and, following a successful merger with Cadbury Sixth Form College, has an exciting presence in Birmingham.  

The majority of the College’s full-time students are aged 16-18, studying courses designed to give them skills for the modern workplace in a learning environment fully equipped with a specialist automotive centre, beauty and hairdressing salons, computer suites, construction workshops, engineering and science laboratories, fashion and photography studios, a sports hall and a 170-seater theatre.
