Location: Openshaw

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, 41 weeks + 165 hours undirected time

Salary: £43,350.00 - 2 yearly salary increments.

27 days annual leave rising to 30 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years plus bank holidays.

Main responsibilities

To manage and further develop the quality assurance procedures for the College in order to establish a total quality management approach to college services and continuous improvement on student success and experience.

To lead on setting, monitoring and supporting of key performance indicators and college wide self-assessment.

To lead with the capturing, collation and analysis of quality data and produce reports for the Principal and Governors. To ensure all staff have the necessary training and support to be outstanding in their roles.

The role demands the post holder has an excellent understanding of the specialist sector and what is deemed to be outstanding practice within teaching, learning and assessment.

The post holder will have an in-depth knowledge of educational developments within the SEN sector and how this impacts on quality and practice.

Bridge College is the Together Trust’s specialist education college for students aged 16 to 25 years with disabilities, complex needs and autism. Bridge College promotes a multidisciplinary approach to learning and has expertise in supporting students with a wide range of needs.

About you and qualifications

We’re looking for someone who;

  • A degree or equivalent level of qualification
  • A teaching qualification
  • Extensive experience of delivering learning to young people with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Good knowledge of personalised curriculum design which meets legislative requirements
  • Experience of conducting teaching, learning and assessment observations and of providing constructive feedback to staff
  • Experience of management including mentoring and coaching
