The governors of St Mary’s Catholic College are in search of a dedicated and experienced  Quality of Education Lead: RE to join our team of committed educators. Our commitment lies in providing an ambitious Catholic education that ensures our students and communities thrive.

 

We are seeking a practicing catholic, and proficient teacher, with a demonstrated ability to translate policy into effective practice. The ideal candidate should possess a clear vision for elevating standards and the capability to lead, inspire, and motivate both staff and students.

We are looking for a Quality of Education Lead who:

●       Wants to transform children’s lives and develop a love of RE

●       Can guide the RE department and foster the Catholic Ethos of the college through personal exemplification and effective leadership

●       Can be accountable for student progress and development within the subject area

●       Is an excellent classroom practitioner

●       Can effectively manage and deploy teaching/support staff, financial and physical resources within the department to support the designated subject portfolio

●       Can lead a department and develop and enhance the teaching practice of others

●       Work well with staff and students alike

●       Are looking to join a community of schools that promotes the formation of young people into successful citizens

●       Are interested in developing their practice and committed to their own professional development
