We are seeking to appoint a teacher who:

  • Can increase the aspirations of students, specifically in Maths.
  • Play an integral role in increasing the percentage of students passing Maths at a grade 4 or greater.
  • Run close the gap interventions for students across all key stages.
  • Work collaboratively with a specific group of students and families to increase outcomes in Maths. 
  • Work alongside the leadership team to quality assure the teaching of Maths.
  • Has real enthusiasm for their subject and a commitment to teaching Maths.
  • Teach engaging and challenging lessons that promote students’ abilities to learn independently and to respond effectively to feedback. 
  • Deliver high quality subject specific CPD.
  • Believe that Maths plays an important role in the development of students’ skills, knowledge and understanding.
  • To work alongside the Maths leadership team and take an active role in curriculum planning and preparation. 
  • Are able to instill in students a love of Maths. 
  • Recognise the value of learning beyond the classroom in enhancing the understanding and experience of the world in which we live.
