We are seeking to appoint a teacher who:
- Can increase the aspirations of students, specifically in Maths.
- Play an integral role in increasing the percentage of students passing Maths at a grade 4 or greater.
- Run close the gap interventions for students across all key stages.
- Work collaboratively with a specific group of students and families to increase outcomes in Maths.
- Work alongside the leadership team to quality assure the teaching of Maths.
- Has real enthusiasm for their subject and a commitment to teaching Maths.
- Teach engaging and challenging lessons that promote students’ abilities to learn independently and to respond effectively to feedback.
- Deliver high quality subject specific CPD.
- Believe that Maths plays an important role in the development of students’ skills, knowledge and understanding.
- To work alongside the Maths leadership team and take an active role in curriculum planning and preparation.
- Are able to instill in students a love of Maths.
- Recognise the value of learning beyond the classroom in enhancing the understanding and experience of the world in which we live.
